Job Summary
A thriving Outstanding primary academy in Birmingham is looking to appoint a Site Manager on a full-time permanent basis with an ASAP start.

As Site Manager youll play a vital role in ensuring the school remains safe secure and well maintained helping to create an environment where pupils and staff can thrive every day.
Youll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the school site ensuring the premises are safe compliant and presented to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Opening and securing the school each day
Carrying out routine maintenance repairs and inspections
Managing contractors and overseeing site projects
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety fire safety asbestos and legionella regulations
Completing statutory checks and maintaining accurate compliance records
Preparing classrooms halls and outdoor spaces for school events and activities
Monitoring the condition of the building grounds and play equipment
Supporting the leadership team with premises planning and improvement projects
This Outstanding primary academy provides education for pupils aged 411 and has built a strong reputation for its nurturing ethos high expectations and inclusive learning environment. The school benefits from modern facilities well-maintained outdoor spaces and a leadership team that values every member of staff.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Site Manager Caretaker Facilities Manager Estates Officer Premises Manager or in a similar maintenance or facilities role.
Youll have practical maintenance skills a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and the ability to manage contractors while maintaining high standards across the school site. An organised proactive approach and the ability to work independently are essential.
