Job Summary
An excellent school in Hackney is seeking an experienced and dependable Site Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a practical and organised professional to take responsibility for the day-to-day management maintenance and security of the school site.
The successful Site Manager will play a key role in ensuring the school premises remain safe secure well maintained and fit for purpose. You will work closely with school leaders and contractors to oversee the smooth running of the site and respond effectively to any maintenance or facilities issues.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school site
Carrying out regular checks of buildings grounds and facilities
Coordinating repairs and maintenance work with contractors
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed across the site
Monitoring site security access and key holding arrangements
Managing contractors and ensuring work is completed to a suitable standard
Supporting emergency procedures and responding to urgent site issues
Maintaining accurate records relating to maintenance inspections and compliance
The school is looking for a proactive and reliable Site Manager with strong practical skills and excellent organisational ability. Previous experience within a school education commercial or facilities environment would be advantageous.
The successful candidate should be confident working independently communicating with staff and contractors and prioritising a varied workload. A strong understanding of health and safety and premises management is highly desirable.
