What Youll Do

Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Working on a variety of projects in the North East region reporting directly to the Regional Commercial Manager.
• The role will be a mix of office and site based work and will provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which they are responsible.
• Ensure that projects are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.

What Were Looking For

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor managing the commercial delivery of construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract with a strong understanding of Construction Law and contractual risk management.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets cost reporting cash flow forecasting and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Extensive experience procuring and managing subcontract packages including valuations variations and final accounts.
• Strong knowledge of monthly CVRs earned value analysis accruals and commercial reporting.
• Experience leading commercial negotiations with clients consultants and the supply chain to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Excellent commercial awareness leadership analytical and communication skills with the ability to mentor and support junior commercial team members.
