Reporting to the Head of Product the Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in driving global business change overseeing a broad portfolio of initiatives including innovation renovation maintenance seasonal geographic expansion and productivity. The role is central to evolving and embedding governance in a fast-growing global business leading a team of Project Managers and collaborating closely with senior leaders to provide clear updates navigate complexity and deliver effective solutions.

How you will contribute

You will:

• End-to-end project leadership: Lead the delivery of complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through to launch ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to agreed scope.
• Cross-functional stakeholder management: Engage align and influence senior stakeholders across the business constructively resolving conflict and driving fact-based outcome-focused decision-making.
• Portfolio delivery: Manage global NPD renovation and business change initiatives coordinating inputs across packaging recipe development manufacturing and regulatory functions.
• Governance: Establish embed and maintain robust project governance frameworks including stage-gate processes risk management steering committees RAG status and clear actionable reporting.
• Risk management: Proactively identify assess and mitigate risks and dependencies escalating issues appropriately to protect timelines cost and quality.
• Continuous improvement: Champion best practice in project management evolving tools processes and ways of working to support the needs of a rapidly growing global business.
• Leadership and capability building: Lead coach and mentor Project Managers and cross-functional team members to build capability consistency and high performance.
• Strategic alignment and prioritisation: Support portfolio prioritisation to ensure projects and resource allocation align with AC strategic priorities and operational capability.

What you will bring

• Extensive project management experience: Proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional projects
• FMCG background: notably within food
• Flexibility: deep understanding of delivering projects within a complex process as well as experience working with a start-up approach and able to tailor ways-of-working to accommodate where necessary.
• Supply chain exposure: hands-on experience of collaborating with an array of teams
• Governance experience: operating at a senior level steering groups and influencing decision-making confidently challenging stakeholders where necessary
• People leadership: experience in mentoring or line-managing
• 2 x direct reports (project managers)
