Senior ELV Project Manager

Contract Opportunity Long-Term Programme Immediate Requirement

Our client has secured a number of significant technology and smart building packages on a major new-build development in London and is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to take ownership of delivery.

This is not a package management role.

This is a senior leadership appointment for an individual capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships driving programme performance overseeing commercial outcomes and leading multidisciplinary delivery teams across BMS Security and Communications Infrastructure systems.

You will become the key interface between the client main contractor consultants subcontractors and internal delivery teams ensuring projects are delivered safely profitably and to programme.

Youll be entrusted with responsibility for high-value works encompassing:

• Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Integrated Security Systems
• Access Control
• CCTV
• Intruder Detection
• Communication Networks
• Structured Cabling
• ICT Infrastructure
• Smart Building Technologies

Working closely with senior client representatives and project stakeholders youll play a pivotal role in driving successful project outcomes from mobilisation through to testing commissioning and handover.

• Act as senior point of contact for the client
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
• Chair project delivery progress and commercial meetings
• Manage expectations and resolve project challenges

• Lead projects through all delivery phases
• Own programme performance and milestone achievement
• Implement recovery plans where required
• Coordinate internal teams and specialist subcontractors

• Monitor budgets forecasts and profitability
• Manage variations and change control
• Protect commercial interests throughout delivery
• Support final account agreements

• Champion a strong safety culture
• Ensure compliance with all project and statutory requirements
• Drive quality standards across all workstreams

• Direct engineers project teams and subcontractors
• Manage labour planning and resource allocation
• Lead project reporting to senior management

Professionals who have successfully delivered large-scale projects within:

You will have:

• Strong client-facing experience
• Commercial awareness
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors
• Proven programme management capability
• Ability to lead high-performing project teams

• SMSTS
• CSCS Black Card or PQP Card preferred
• APM PMP or PRINCE2 desirable
