Senior Cost Consultant (Aviation)

Role description:

Role accountabilities:

• Leading cost management activities across major project packages from feasibility through to completion.

• Developing and managing cost plans estimates budgets and financial reporting.

• Monitoring project performance identifying risks and opportunities and providing commercial insights to support decision-making.

• Supporting contract administration and commercial management activities under NEC contracts.

• Building strong relationships with clients contractors and project stakeholders.

• Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

• Supporting governance assurance and reporting processes to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Significant experience delivering cost management services across major infrastructure projects.

• Experience within aviation rail highways or other complex capital programmes.

• Strong knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts including compensation events and change management processes.

• Demonstrable stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

• Ability to manage workstreams independently whilst contributing to wider programme objectives.

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

• Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards chartership.

• CSCS card holder or willing to obtain.
