Role: Senior Client Manager
Location: Keighley
Salary: 80000

This is a senior level opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who can confidently manage a varied client portfolio oversee a team of accountants and act as a senior point of contact for clients. The successful candidate will need strong technical knowledge excellent communication skills and the confidence to manage both client relationships and staff.

Responsibilities of the Senior Client Manager job include:
Managing your own portfolio of clients and maintaining strong working relationships
Liaising with clients at a senior level and handling complex accounting queries
Supervising and supporting a team of at least four accountants
Reviewing work completed by other members of the team
Preparing statutory accounts from both incomplete and computerised records
Preparing company and personal tax returns
Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders limited companies partnerships and LLPs
Producing management accounts where required
Carrying out client visits and providing ongoing support to clients
Managing workloads deadlines and the quality of work produced by the team

Requirements of the Senior Client Manager job include:
ACA ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant
A minimum of 15 years recent experience within a UK accountancy practice is essential
Industry experience will not count towards the required 15 years practice experience
Extensive experience preparing accounts across a range of business structures
Strong knowledge of company and personal tax returns
Previous experience reviewing accounts and supervising or managing other accountants
Experience managing a client portfolio and dealing confidently with clients at a senior level
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative

The successful candidate will be a confident experienced and personable accountant who can take ownership of client relationships lead a team effectively and maintain high standards across all aspects of their work.
