The Senior AI Engineer (Full Stack) is responsible for the design evaluation and production operation of systems built on foundation models translating model behavior into functional production-ready applications that drive measurable business impact.

This position reports to the Senior Director AI Operations and Commercial and is part of the Data & AI Team located in Cambridge and will be an on-site role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and deliver end-to-end LLM-powered applications including RAG systems and agent workflows.
• Transform prototypes into reliable scalable production services with deployment monitoring and failure handling.
• Integrate and operate external model APIs managing constraints such as latency cost and reliability.
• Build and operate data pipelines for retrieval evaluation and fine-tuning workflows.
• Establish evaluation monitoring and guardrails to ensure measurable performance quality and safety.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Strong software engineering capability primarily in TypeScript and Python with backend and API development skills.
• Expertise in GenAI systems: RAG prompt engineering LLM integration and agentic workflows.
• Cloud and infrastructure knowledge including deployment containerization and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals including model behavior evaluation and testing.
• Demonstrated ability to design deploy and operate production-grade AI systems with focus on reliability scalability and performance.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• LangGraph LangChain PocketFlow or other multi-agent orchestration tooling
• Familiarity with monorepo technologies (nx lerna) and multi application deployment pipelines
