Security Engineer - Installation & Service (Tesla Provided & Latest Tech training )

Location: Newcastle North East.
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: 50000 Company Tesla Electric car or Electric Van.

Our client an established enterprise security systems integrator with nearly 20 years of experience is looking for a Security Engineer to join their growing technical team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with the latest cutting-edge technology across enterprise highly secure sites nationwide whilst driving a company Tesla and enjoying clear career progression.

Position Overview

As a Security Engineer youll play a vital role in delivering security solutions across some of the UKs most demanding environments. Youll install commission and maintain Access Control and CCTV systems (including Lenel Hirsch Gallagher Genetec) within data centres government facilities and critical infrastructure sites. Working independently across customer locations youll provide technical expertise that directly protects critical assets and ensures operational continuity for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities
  • Install and commission Access Control and CCTV systems across enterprise environments

  • Conduct service maintenance and technical fault finding on security systems

  • Configure software and perform system diagnostics on networked solutions

  • Deliver system upgrades and expansion projects for existing installations

  • Support large-scale integrated and networked security solutions

  • Work independently across customer sites within critical and secure environments

  • Provide technical support ensuring minimal disruption to operations

  • Complete project and service documentation accurately and promptly

Requirements
  • Proven experience with CCTV and Access Control systems (such as Lenel Hirsch Gallagher Genetec)

  • Background in installation commissioning service or maintenance of security systems

  • Strong technical fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Understanding of IP networking and integrated security systems

  • Experience working within commercial or enterprise environments

  • Excellent customer communication skills and professional approach on secure sites

  • Flexibility to travel as projects require across the UK

  • Ability to meet appropriate background screening and security clearance requirements

  • Experience within data centres government police defence or critical infrastructure is valuable
