Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality interactive Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 catering to a range of learning abilities.
Prepare students for national GCSE Science examinations through structured theory and hands-on laboratory experiments.
Lead safe practical investigations in accordance with health and safety standards and school policies.
Track student progress through regular assessments implementing targeted interventions to close learning gaps.
Support departmental extra-curricular initiatives including science fairs STEM clubs and revision clinics.
Key Requirements
Bachelors degree in Biology Chemistry Physics or a related scientific discipline.
Recognized UK teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS.
Proven ability to teach secondary Science effectively across key stages.
Strong classroom management practical lab skills and effective communication skills.
Legal right to work in the UK.
