We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team at a school in Fulford York.
Working Hours:
During School Holidays
(flexible start time between 08:00am 11:30am)
Normal hours
- Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm 7:00pm
- Friday: 1:30pm 5:30pm
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean safe and hygienic environment throughout the school.
Duties include:
- Cleaning classrooms corridors offices and communal areas
- Vacuuming mopping dusting and sanitizing surfaces
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Following all health and safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate including the Childrens Barred List is essential.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Reliable trustworthy and able to work independently.
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Salary
12.71 per hour
Please note: Applications will only be considered from candidates who already hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate including the Childrens Barred List or will be happy to be put forward for an Enhanced DBS
