The role is Based in our Halbeath Office. As a Sales Ledger Administrator you will be an integral member of our Finance team reporting directly to our Credit Control Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the finance team with the maintenance of financial records preparation of reports
Specifically responsibilities of a Sales Ledger Administrator include:
General Accounts Receivable:
- Monitor shared mailboxes and respond to customer requests including copies of invoices credit notes proof of deliveries (PODs) and proforma invoices.
- Log investigate and track customer queries through to resolution liaising with customers and internal departments as required.
- Manage & manage customer invoice portal uploads ensuring invoices and supporting documentation are submitted accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and contact information within company systems.
- Process period-end invoices and credit notes in line with company procedures.
- Set up and maintain new customer accounts in accordance with company procedures.
- Support Credit Controllers with debt collection activities customer follow-up and account management.
- Assist with processing and allocation of customer payments ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.
- Reconcile customer accounts identify discrepancies and support the resolution of outstanding issues.
About you:
- A good standard of education with higher standard or equivalent level qualifications in English and Maths
- The ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines whilst organising planning and prioritise a busy workload
- First rate communication numeracy literacy and PC/IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a high level of competency in Excel.
- A working knowledge of SAP or other ERP system is desirable.
