Key job responsibilities
Work backwards from the customer identifying inputs to grow Amazons most strategic brands and improve their performance within a retail category.

Support vendor managers in providing a suite of services designed to help brands succeed collaborating with cross-functional teams including in-stock and marketing.

Develop analytical and problem-solving skills by collecting analysing and interpreting data to drive category performance.

Build an understanding of customer pain points requirements and potential value across retail advertising and merchant services.

Identify target accounts using market data and industry intelligence to support business growth.

Identify opportunities to improve products services processes systems and tools across the business.

Work with different parts of the Amazon business to implement improvement projects including category teams product teams and technical support teams.

A day in the life
Every day is a little different as a Retail Vendor Manager Intern. Working alongside a vendor manager youll learn how Amazon handles its e-commerce retail business across product categories from books to fashion electronics to grocery and everything in between. You might spend your morning analysing category performance data and identifying growth opportunities for strategic brands then spend your afternoon working with marketing or in-stock teams to implement an improvement project that enhances the customer shopping experience.

Amazon is a customer-obsessed business so no matter which retail category you join part of your role will involve working backwards from the customer to identify what matters most. Youll gain exposure to Amazons advertising products and merchant services learn how we create custom opportunities to delight clients and partner across functions to deliver results building your analytical commercial and problem-solving skills in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Internship Start Dates across the year:
We are hiring interns to start anytime from January through September 2027. Each month well hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.

- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Currently in your penultimate year and working towards a Bacherlors or Masters degree in Business Marketing Economics E-Commerce Mathematics Statistics Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level including: pivot tables macros index/match vlookup VBA data links etc.
- Available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) and commit to 3 to 12 month internship maximum
- You must have the right to work in the country of employment.
- You will be based in London for the duration of the internship. A relocation package may be offered subject to an eligibility criteria

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills able to collaborate effectively with others.
- Demonstrated curiosity proactivity and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous fast-paced environment.
