Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform experiments and data analysis accurately document experimental observations and calculations and summarize the findings

• Troubleshoot experiments identify abnormal or unexpected trends in data and validate new products product components and technologies related to assigned projects

• Present data at R&D meetings providing conclusions and future plans as directed by the supervisor

• Contribute to ongoing maintenance and operations of the laboratory including lab cleaning equipment maintenance inventory ordering waste disposal and lab skills training whilst adhering to laboratory standards and practices

• May provide technical support and training on product use and protocols within R&D and other departments

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Minimum qualification Bachelors degree in Life Sciences

• Experience performing high quality reproducible laboratory experiments; with molecular biology techniques and cell culture experience considered an asset

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in one-on-one and group settings

• Experience performing statistical analyses and interpreting experimental data with guidance

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

STEMCELL determines an individuals pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience education job-related skills and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company addition to base salary STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include health benefits retirement savings and more (depending on region).
