Our RCVS-accredited Veterinary Hospital in Hartford is seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our experienced and supportive team. This is an ideal opportunity for an RVN who enjoys a fast-paced environment loves being fully involved in patient care and wants exposure to a diverse caseload that will continually expand their clinical experience and nursing skills.

You will join a large team of experienced vets nurses and receptionists in a busy hospital environment. We offer fantastic facilities including an ultrasound scanner digital x-ray in-house laboratory CT scanner laparoscopy equipment and much more.

This is a varied general nursing role covering patient preparation theatre work and in-patient care on a rota with plenty of opportunities to be involved in interesting medical and surgical cases.

About You

• Qualified RVN
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys theatre work and in-patient care
• Likes emergency cases

The Role

• Permanent or 12m fixed term contract to suit your circumstances
• Full-time 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
• Working hours between 7:00am and 8:30pm
• 1 in 4 weekends with 2 days TOIL the following week
• 2 Bank Holidays per year
• Occasional requirement to cover twilight and late kennel shifts
