Registered Veterinary Nurse

Abbey Vets Paisley is looking for a proactive and compassionate full-time RVNto join our dedicated and caring team.

We are an RCVS accredited well-established friendly mixed practice with surgeries in Paisley and Greenock. You will be joining a supportive network of vets nurses ACAs and receptionists.

We aim to provide excellent first opinion care to our patients and a great service to our loyal long-standing clients.

Youll be joining us at an exciting time as our Paisley practice has recently undergone a major refurbishment creating a modern purpose-built environment. Our practice facilities include a fully equipped lab with the latest haematology biochemistry electrolyte and therapeutic monitoring ultrasound scanner digital radiography including dental x-ray machine endoscope and the latest dental machine instruments and equipment.

The Role:

• Full-time 40 hours per week (part-time considered for the right candidate)
• Based at our Paisleybranch
• Permanent contract
• No on-call duties and 1:4 weekends

** Salary up to 35000 dependent on experience (based on 40 hrs/wk)

Duties are based on a rota system consisting of:

• Caring for both medical and surgical patients post op
• Assisting vets in both theatre and prep area
• Ordering and stock control of pharmacy
• Caring for isolation patients
• Lab work
