At Woodcroft Veterinary Group youll be joining a thriving veterinary team with access to a busy multi-disciplinary referral hospital A&E service and five first-opinion practices across South Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is keen to expand their clinical skills and develop their career in a progressive environment.
About the Role
Based primarily at Woodcroft Veterinary Hospital you will work across a broad range of nursing disciplines supporting both referral and first-opinion services while delivering exceptional patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Theatre and anaesthesia nursing
- Emergency and critical care
- Inpatient and ward nursing
- Diagnostic procedures
- Medical and surgical nursing
- General patient care and monitoring
Youll work alongside a highly skilled team of Veterinary Surgeons and RVNs who are committed to collaboration learning and clinical excellence.
Working Pattern
- Full-time permanent position
- Flexible 4 or 5-day working week considered
- 1 in 6 weekends
- Time off in lieu for weekend and bank holiday shifts
- Predominantly daytime weekend shifts
About You
Were looking for an RVN who:
- Is RCVS registered
- Provides a high standard of patient care
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is proactive organised and reliable
- Enjoys supporting colleagues and student nurses
- Has a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
