37.5 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to 33000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for an Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in theWards department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
- Assess patient needs prioritise care and update care plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate legible and timely nursing documentation including assessments care plans and observations.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients families and carers providing information reassurance and emotional support.
- Support patients in understanding their condition treatments and recovery processes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality safe and efficient care.
- Identify and report incidents safeguarding concerns and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
- Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.
- Good understanding of clinical governance patient safety and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in IT systems used for patient records documentation and care planning.
