Staff Nurse RGN or RMN

23.20 per hour 37.5 Hours per Week Night Shifts

Our client is looking for an experienced RGN or RMN to join their specialist dementia nursing home providing high-quality clinical care to older adults throughout the night.

This role is suited to a nurse with previous nursing home experience who is confident managing a shift responding to changing clinical needs and supporting care colleagues.

Youll be joining an established service with stable staffing and a strong focus on delivering safe compassionate and individualised dementia care.

Please note: this position does not offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

What Youll Need

• Active NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
• Recent nursing home experience essential
• Experience supporting older adults and people living with dementia
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Confidence managing a night shift and delegating to care colleagues
• Experience with medication administration care planning and risk assessments
• Good understanding of safeguarding infection control and clinical governance
• A calm and confident approach when responding to changing resident needs

What Youll Do

• Take responsibility for clinical care delivery throughout the night shift
• Assess and monitor residents responding appropriately to changes in their health
• Administer and manage medications safely in line with NMC standards
• Develop review and maintain person-centred care plans
• Support residents living with dementia with dignity patience and understanding
• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to care colleagues
• Maintain accurate clinical records and regulatory standards
• Respond appropriately to incidents emergencies and clinical concerns
• Liaise with GPs families and external healthcare professionals when required
