Role: Registered Manager Specialist Childrens Home (New Service)

Location: Rotherham South Yorkshire
Hours: Full Time
Salary: 55000

This is your chance to shape a loving nurturing home from the very beginning working alongside the Responsible Individual and Directors to create an environment where every child feels safe valued and supported to thrive.

What will you be doing

• Supporting the development and launch of a new specialist childrens home.
• Building positive relationships with local professionals education providers health services and social care teams.
• Helping recruit develop and support a compassionate values-led staff team.
• Creating a positive culture built on dignity consistency patience and aspiration.
• Preparing a calm nurturing home that feels like home not an institution.
• Working closely with the Responsible Individual and Directors throughout the Ofsted registration process and beyond.

Experience/qualifications required:

• Experience working with children with learning disabilities autism and/or ADHD.
• Previous experience within childrens residential care.
• Strong leadership skills with a child-centred approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving the best outcomes for children.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards if applicable).
