Location: Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre TN4 9TX
Hourly Rate: 10.85 to 12.71 per hour plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Permanent Full-time 40 hours per week Weekdays: 6.15am to 2.45pm or 2pm to 10.30pm Weekends: 7.45am to 4.15pm

As a Receptionist youll be the first point of contact for customers creating a welcoming environment and helping people access the facilities and services they need. Through excellent customer care and professional support youll play an important role in delivering a positive impact on communities and helping more people enjoy active healthy lifestyles.

What youll do as a Receptionist

• Provide excellent customer service face to face and over the telephone
• Manage reception duties ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
• Handle cash transactions and follow financial procedures accurately
• Support colleagues across the team when required
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment in line with policies and procedures
• Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders to deliver consistent service excellence

• Experience delivering strong customer service in a customer-facing environment
• Confidence handling cash and maintaining accurate records
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve customer queries effectively
• Strong communication skills and a positive proactive approach
• A flexible mindset able to adapt to different situations and support the wider team
