Salary: 27257 - 29850 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 30 per week 39 weeks sessional
Working pattern for position is Monday - Thursday 8.30 a.m. - 3.35 p.m. Friday 8.25 a.m. - 1.20 p.m.
St Crispins is a special school for primary and secondary age pupils.
The school meets the needs of learners with complex long term additional support needs who require a significantly modified learning environment. The needs of learners are primarily associated with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
We moved into our new building in Burdiehouse in early 2022. Facilities include 12 classrooms Art Music Home Economics classrooms a PE hall and swimming pool. We also benefit from sensory and softplay rooms.
Each class has a maximum of 6 learners. Pupil Support Workers work as part of a class team along with the class teacher to support each learner to reach their full potential.
It is desirable that applicants should have experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
