We are seeking an experiencedProject Manager IIwith a strong background inpower generation power delivery renewable energy or heavy industrial projects. This role will lead cross-functional project teams and be responsible for project planning execution budgeting scheduling risk management stakeholder communication and successful project delivery.

• Develop and manage project scope schedules budgets milestones and resource plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across engineering operations construction and other stakeholders.
• Track project costs and ensure work remains within approved budgets.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor schedules deliverables and overall project performance.
• Manage scope changes and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Resolve project issues and escalate critical concerns when necessary.
• Implement appropriate project management methodologies and best practices.
• Ensure quality standards and project requirements are met.
• Lead project closeout activities stakeholder sign-off and lessons-learned reviews.

• 510 years of project management experience.
• Minimum5 years of experience in power generation power delivery renewable energy or heavy industrial environments.
• Bachelors degree in Project Management Engineering Business or related technical discipline preferred.
• Strong experience managing project scope schedule budget risk and resources.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
• Strong communication leadership organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile and/or Scrum.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Must be willing to travel throughout the Southern Company service territory for project work.

• PMP or other recognized project management certification.
• Utility or energy industry project management experience.
• Experience with power plant transmission renewable energy construction or capital improvement projects.
