Programme Coordinator

Every vehicle programme requires exceptional coordination collaboration and attention to detail to ensure delivery against demanding quality timing and performance targets. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of individual vehicle projects from product definition through to Start of Production (SOP).

Working closely with the Project Leader you will play a key role in coordinating cross-functional activities across the business ensuring programme milestones are achieved and project objectives are delivered. Acting as a central point of coordination you will support the management of scope timing cost quality and resources while helping to drive programme governance and reporting activities.

As Project Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating inputs for Programme Steering Teams (PSTs) and gateway reviews preparing presentations and reports organising meetings and facilitating the resolution of actions arising from programme reviews. You will maintain accurate records and documentation track project deliverables coordinate vehicle project plans and provide regular programme status reporting.

The role will involve working closely with engineering teams System Engineering Teams (SETs) prototype build functions procurement and wider programme stakeholders to manage development plans test tracking activities prototype part readiness and programme concerns. You will also support project management activities through data analysis timing studies reporting and the preparation of key programme metrics to support decision-making across the vehicle development lifecycle.

We are looking for an individual with an Automotive or Mechanical Engineering degree or significant relevant experience gained within an automotive product development environment. You will have previous experience coordinating complex vehicle programmes product development projects or large-scale engineering activities and possess a strong understanding of product creation and development processes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and confidence working with cross-functional teams across a fast-paced engineering environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential together with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
