What Youll Be Doing
Youll become part of a skilled production team responsible for manufacturing high-quality welded steel mesh using modern automated machinery.
Every shift youll learn how to:
- Operate automated production equipment
- Monitor product quality and carry out inspections
- Adjust machine settings following full training
- Identify and solve production issues
- Work safely as part of a close-knit team
- Help us continuously improve our manufacturing processes
No two days are exactly the same and every day offers the opportunity to develop new technical skills.
Shift Pattern 3-shift rotation (MonFri): 06:0014:00 / 14:0022:00 / 22:0006:00
Shift working allows them to support customers across the UK while providing an excellent overall salary and benefits package.
Requirements
What they are looking for:
- Practical experience in a production or mechanical environment setting and operating machinery
- A strong commitment to safety and product quality
- Experience using hand tools (e.g. Allen keys hammers screwdrivers)
- Confidence with basic digital tools such as on-screen and tablet-based systems
- An adaptable driven and team-focused attitude genuinely open to learning new technology and better ways of working
- Curiosity about innovation and AI with ideas for doing things better
- The ability to work all three rotating shifts (early late and night)
If you also have the following thats great but they can train you if not:
- Basic understanding of drawings and measurements
- Forklift truck (FLT) licence
- AI literacy
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C / 4 or above (or equivalent)
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production ideally welding automation or mesh making in another sector
