• BSW Timber - Corpach Fort William PH33 7AP
• Rotating Shift Patterns (6pm - 6am Monday - Friday / 6am - 6pm Thursday - Wednesday including Saturday 6am - 12pm)
• 12.76-14.25 depending on shifts & Experience

Due to our continued and exciting growth we are looking to recruit a Production Operator to join our workforce across the BSW Timber site in Corpach Fort William.

Some responsibilities of a Production Operator may include:

As a Production Operative youll enjoy a variety of duties ranging from manual handling of timber to operating state of art sawmilling machinery. Working towards set production targets whatever duty youre assigned well expect you to contribute to the creation of quality timber products on time and to specification whilst following appropriate health & safety practices.

• Manual Handling of timber.
• Operating state of the art sawmilling equipment.
• Working towards and maintaining set production targets.
• Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices across the site.
• Operating mobile plant machinery.

About you:

Ideally were seeking a motivated individual who is quality focused and understands the value of the goods they are producing. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. You will be self-motivated have a can-do attitude and be willing to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.

In addition you will have:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
• Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
• Experience within a manufacturing or similar production environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
