Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern 6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm (40 hours p/w)

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operator to join our team within our Added Value Department at our Carlisle mill. As a Production Operator you will be responsible for a variety of duties across the Department working within a team and individually.

Specifically some responsibilities of a Production Operator include:

• Manual handling of timber.
• Operating semi-automated machine centres.
• Working towards set production targets.
• Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices.

About you:

Ideally were seeking motivated individuals who are quality focused and understand the value of the goods they are producing. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised maintained and quality targets are met with minimum addition you will have:

• Good computer numeracy and literacy skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• A self-motivated and can-do attitude.
• Appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
• Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
• Experience within a manufacturing or similar production environment would be advantageous.
