NXT Recruitment is looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in Wigton.
With several positions available this is a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience develop new skills and potentially secure permanent employment.
Most roles will initially be offered on a temporary basis for approximately three months with the potential to become permanent depending on business requirements and individual performance.
Supporting day-to-day production activities and meeting targets.
Operating machinery and equipment safely following appropriate training.
Preparing handling and assembling materials and components.
Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
Packing and preparing finished goods for despatch.
Maintaining a clean tidy and safe working environment.
Working effectively with colleagues to ensure production runs smoothly.
Following company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Previous production or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
A reliable hardworking attitude and willingness to learn.
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence handling materials and carrying out practical tasks.
Flexibility to work the required shift pattern.
Full training will be provided where necessary.
Day shift and back shift positions are available. Some roles will require initial training on days before moving onto back shift.
Back shift hours:
Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm 10:30pm
Friday: 1:00pm 6:00pm
