Were looking for a Procurement Manager (Direct) to join our team at Gaydon on a fixed term contract until November 2027 and help drive the next chapter of Aston Martins success.

This is an opportunity to lead and develop a procurement team while influencing key business decisions across the organisation. Youll operate at the heart of our Procurement function working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop sourcing strategies identify opportunities manage supplier performance and ensure Aston Martin continues to achieve the highest standards of quality value and service.

As a Procurement Manager (Direct) youll be responsible for navigating a fast-paced and dynamic environment where commercial awareness market insight and strategic thinking are essential. Youll analyse market trends supplier capabilities and industry developments to ensure Aston Martin remains ahead of the curve while helping the business adapt to changing technologies economic conditions and regulatory requirements.

Youll also play a key role in identifying and mitigating supply chain risks developing robust supplier strategies and fostering strong relationships that support both short-term objectives and long-term business success. Whether youre driving commercial negotiations collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders or championing process improvements youll be instrumental in helping the Procurement function deliver lasting value to the business.

Were looking for an experienced direct procurement professional who combines strong commercial judgement with excellent leadership skills. Youll have experience managing and developing teams building effective stakeholder relationships and delivering results within a complex business environment. While automotive experience would be advantageous were equally interested in individuals who can demonstrate strong procurement expertise gained in other sectors.

Most importantly youll be someone who enjoys leading people solving problems and influencing decisions. Youll be comfortable working strategically while remaining hands-on when required bringing energy accountability and a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.
