Process Engineer Pharmaceutical Packaging

The Impact You Will Make:We are looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Continuous Improvement / Process Engineer to support our pharmaceutical packaging operations including serialisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer to build practical experience in a regulated manufacturing environment while helping to improve safety quality efficiency and alongside Packaging Operations Quality Engineering Validation and Supply Chain colleagues you will use data and structured problem-solving methods to identify waste investigate recurring issues and implement sustainable improvements. You will receive on-the-job development in pharmaceutical processes Good Manufacturing Practice and continuous improvement Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Support small-scale continuous improvement projects that streamline packaging processes reduce waste and improve line analyse and present operational data including line efficiency downtime right-first-time performance and delivered structured improvement and problem-solving methods such as PDCA DMAIC process mapping 5S and root cause analysis with coaching and with cross-functional teams to develop trial implement and sustain practical process a working knowledge of assigned packaging products equipment processes and serialisation systems through training and hands-on daily problem solving investigations and the preparation of clear documentation for deviations corrective and preventative actions and change with the introduction qualification and validation of equipment technology and process changes including preparation and execution of create or update standard work procedures process maps and training actions risks and benefits escalating constraints appropriately and communicating progress to in accordance with GMP EHS data integrity requirements specifications methods and company to a right-first-time culture and encourage team involvement in continuous & Experience:A degree HNC/HND apprenticeship or equivalent experience in engineering manufacturing pharmaceutical science or another relevant technical interest in pharmaceutical packaging manufacturing technology and continuous understanding of Lean Six Sigma or another improvement methodology is desirable; training will be working with data and identifying trends; practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and of GMP validation quality systems or EHS requirements is Capabilities:Curious analytical and motivated to understand how processes work.A practical problem solver who pays close attention to detail and documentation.A clear communicator who can work effectively with colleagues at all and able to manage priorities actions and deadlines with appropriate working both independently and as part of a cross-functional to feedback eager to learn and committed to high standards of safety quality and data we Offer:Attractive compensation pension scheme (up to 10% employer contribution).25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays) plus service days after 5 Medical sick pay.
