The Role
As a Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer youll lead the design and delivery of a diverse range of projects across residential commercial and mixed-use developments. Youll work closely with clients architects and fellow engineers while helping to shape the technical direction of projects from concept through to completion.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others taking ownership and being a key contributor to both project delivery and the wider business.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and delivery of projects across residential commercial and mixed-use sectors.
- Manage projects through all RIBA stages.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and support junior engineers helping to develop the next generation of talent.
- Review and oversee technical designs to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with the wider leadership team and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.
- Attend client and design team meetings and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.
About You
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Significant experience within a building services consultancy environment.
- Experience delivering residential commercial and mixed-use projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership is desirable.
- Passionate about mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
