Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for aPrincipal Geo-Environmental Engineerto joinRSK Geosciencesin Hemel Hempstead.This is afull-time permanentposition.

The Geosciences team delivers consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients including engineers house-builders oil companies and local authorities. Responsibilities:

• Managing Geo-Environmental projects through PRA and site investigation phases including the production of high quality interpretive reports adhering to RSK procedures and completed within the given cost budgets and programmes agreed with the client
• Design and management of site investigation works and projects in the sectors above
• Effectively communication with clients to build strong working relationships with the aim of meeting and exceeding expectations
• Manage projects to meet both commercial and technical requirements and working with project leads to deliver appropriate solutions where necessary
• Knowledge of contaminated land and planning legislation in Scotland and elsewhere in the UK is beneficial

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc degree level qualified in Geology Chemistry Civil Engineering or a related subject essential
• MSc in Land contamination/ hydrogeology or Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering or Contaminated Land preferable but not essential
• Chartered Geologist Scientist or Engineer
• Full UK driving licence
