A prestigious and forward-thinking school in Sevenoaks is looking for an experienced IT Technician to join its established technical support team.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical assistance to staff and pupils and help ensure that technology across the school operates efficiently.

• Providing first-line IT support to staff and pupils.

• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

• Supporting classroom computers and laptops.

• Setting up and maintaining IT equipment.

• Supporting interactive displays and classroom technology.

• Installing and updating software.

• Assisting with user accounts and access issues.

• Maintaining printers and peripheral equipment.

• Logging and monitoring technical support requests.

• Preparing equipment for lessons and events.

• Maintaining accurate records of IT equipment.

• Escalating more complex issues when necessary.

• Previous experience working as an IT Technician within a school or educational setting is essential.

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience supporting staff and pupils.

• Good understanding of hardware and software.

• Strong communication skills.

• Patient and professional approach.

• Ability to work independently and within a wider IT team.

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
