Job Summary
An outstanding school in Sheffield is seeking an experienced and highly organised Premises Manager to join its team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and proactive professional to take responsibility for the effective management maintenance and security of the school site.
The successful Premises Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the schools buildings grounds and facilities ensuring the environment remains safe secure and well maintained. You will work closely with school leaders staff and external contractors to ensure all premises-related requirements are managed efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the daily maintenance and operation of the school premises
Carrying out regular site inspections and identifying maintenance requirements
Coordinating repairs contractors and planned maintenance works
Supporting compliance with health and safety requirements
Monitoring site security access arrangements and building systems
Maintaining accurate records of inspections repairs and compliance checks
Managing premises-related budgets and ordering supplies where required
Responding to urgent maintenance issues and supporting emergency procedures
The school is looking for a reliable organised and hands-on Premises Manager with previous experience in facilities estates premises or site management. Experience within an educational setting would be advantageous.
