A well-established school in Faringdon is seeking an experienced Premises Manager to oversee the maintenance security safety and general operation of the school site.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the school buildings and grounds remain safe functional secure and welcoming throughout the year.

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school premises.

• Carry out regular inspections of buildings grounds and facilities.

• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works.

• Manage contractors and external service providers working on site.

• Monitor heating lighting water alarm and security systems.

• Maintain records of inspections servicing repairs and maintenance work.

• Support health and safety compliance across the school estate.

• Ensure fire exits and emergency access routes remain clear.

• Oversee the general presentation and cleanliness of the site.

• Coordinate room and facility preparation for school events and activities.

• Proven experience in premises facilities estates caretaking or site management.

• Strong practical knowledge of general building maintenance.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Experience managing contractors and external suppliers.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to prioritise urgent maintenance issues.

• Confident working independently and taking initiative.
