Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive GP practice in Cambridge on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse seeking flexible working while maintaining a varied and rewarding clinical role.
Key Responsibilities:
Cervical cytology (smears)
Childhood immunisations
Travel vaccinations and advice
General adult immunisations and injections
Basic wound care and dressings
Supporting patients with diabetes management and routine monitoring
Essential Requirements:
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
Previous experience working in a GP practice or primary care setting
Competent in cervical screening immunisations and wound care
Experience using SystmOne clinical system
Desirable:
Diabetes management training or experience in chronic disease clinics
Up-to-date immunisation and smear training certificates
