We are looking for a Porter & Maintenance Team Member to join the team at a stunning beachfront hotel on the Isles of Scilly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is practical hardworking and enjoys a varied role where no two days are quite the same.

Your Role

As a Porter & Maintenance Team Member youll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the hotel.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests and assisting with luggage and belongings
  • Helping guests with their arrival and departure
  • Keeping public areas around the hotel clean tidy and well presented
  • Carrying out general maintenance and basic repairs around the hotel
  • Assisting with painting decorating and general upkeep where required
  • Identifying and reporting larger maintenance issues to the General Manager
  • Helping to ensure the hotel grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard
  • Responding positively to guest and team requests
  • Managing your own time and priorities effectively
  • Working efficiently and safely even during busy periods
  • Supporting other departments and the wider hotel team when required

This is a hands-on and varied role so a willingness to get stuck in and help wherever needed is essential.

A well-established Garden Centre Café in Huntingdon is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead a friendly kitchen team in a busy daytime-only operation. Perfect for an experienced Sous Chef or Senior Chef ready to step into management without sacrificing work-life balance.
