Senovo is recruiting for a PMLD Teaching Assistant opportunity in Croydon. This candidate-attraction vacancy is for education professionals with relevant SEND experience who can support pupils safely positively and consistently. Responsibilities may include individual or small-group support helping pupils access learning following school and EHCP strategies supporting communication and regulation and working closely with teaching and SEN staff. Required Skills:

Required Education:
Postgraduate qualification or accredited training in SEND (e.g. National Award for SEN Coordination Autism Education Trust dyslexia/SpLD or SEMH)Proficiency in alternative/augmentative communication methodsMakaton PECS AAC using evidence-based interventions such as TEACCH SCERTS or Positive Behaviour in Team-Teach MAPA or similar de-escalation and safe-handling with assistive ed-tech tools and adaptive software
