Bullet Express is looking for an experienced hands-on PM Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Bothwell site.

This is a working supervisor role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable leading and organising a busy warehouse team while also being prepared to work alongside them when required.

You will be responsible for ensuring the PM warehouse operation runs safely efficiently and on time making sure freight is correctly handled scanned routed and loaded for departure.

IMPORTANT FORKLIFT LICENCE REQUIRED

Applicants MUST hold a valid Forklift Licence and have practical forklift experience.

A valid forklift licence is an essential requirement for this position. Unfortunately applications from candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

As PM Warehouse Supervisor you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse during your shift.

You will lead from the front organising the workload supporting your team and ensuring that operational deadlines are achieved.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising leading and supporting the PM warehouse team.
• Allocating work and ensuring team members understand their responsibilities and priorities.
• Working alongside the warehouse team and assisting with operational duties when required.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring freight is correctly scanned routed and allocated to the correct vehicles.
• Spotting vehicles and organising the movement of freight within the warehouse.
• Ensuring all outgoing vehicles are loaded accurately and ready to depart on schedule.
• Monitoring productivity and reacting quickly to operational issues or changing priorities.
• Ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse and yard cleanliness and organisation.
• Checking warehouse equipment and reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Communicating effectively with drivers office teams and management.
• Providing clear updates and escalating any operational issues where required.

The successful candidate must be someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for a team while remaining very much part of that team.

You should be approachable organised and confident giving direction when required. Equally you must be willing to get involved and work alongside your colleagues to get the job done.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Forklift Licence ESSENTIAL
• Previous hands-on forklift experience.
• Previous experience working within a busy warehouse environment.
• Experience supervising leading or coordinating a warehouse team.
• Confident allocating work and managing priorities throughout a shift.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable making decisions and dealing with operational issues.
• Physically capable of carrying out warehouse and manual handling duties.
• Reliable hardworking and safety focused.
• A genuine team player who leads by example.
• Flexible and willing to support the wider operation when required.

Success in this role means having a PM warehouse operation that is organised safe and efficient.

Freight should be handled and scanned accurately vehicles should be loaded correctly and depart on time and the warehouse team should have clear direction throughout the shift.

Most importantly we are looking for a supervisor who can lead from the front someone who can manage the team but is equally prepared to roll up their sleeves and work alongside them.
