Role: Teacher of Physical Education (KS3KS5)
Location: Epping Essex
Contract: Full-Time Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Physical Education Teacher to join a high-performing secondary academy in Epping. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop confidence teamwork and a lifelong interest in physical activity.
Deliver engaging PE lessons: Plan and teach high-quality practical and theoretical PE lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
Promote participation: Encourage students of all abilities to take part in sport fitness and extracurricular activities.
Support examination groups: Contribute to GCSE and A-Level PE teaching assessment and revision programmes.
Develop sporting talent: Help identify and nurture students with particular strengths in individual and team sports.
Contribute to enrichment: Support fixtures clubs competitions and wider school sporting events.
Maintain high standards: Promote positive behaviour safe practice and excellent participation across all lessons.
Qualified teacher: Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
PE specialism: Has strong subject knowledge across practical and academic Physical Education.
Positive approach: Can motivate students with a wide range of abilities and interests.
Team player: Works effectively with colleagues support staff and extracurricular coaches.
Strong organisation: Demonstrates effective planning assessment and classroom management skills.
Safeguarding commitment: Understands the importance of safeguarding and student wellbeing.
