The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic friendly and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Working closely with our Pharmacy Manager as a Pharmacy Technician you will have defined responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Providing in house pharmacy services
- Assist with dispensing
- Carry out procurement distribution stock taking and the replenishment of pharmacy items to the ward and departments.
- Attending hospital and department meetings
As a Pharmacy Technician you will:
- Will have NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy service or equivalent
- You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Experience of working in a hospital of at leastone year is preferred or at leasttwo years community experience.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent people and customer service skills are essential as you will be working closely both with patients and the hospital team.
- Be highly organised and an analytical individual you will have excellent attention to detail
- Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
