Personal Assistant
Job Summary
As a Personal Assistant supporting a Social Worker you will provide high-quality confidential and effective administrative and practical support to a disabled Social Worker. The role focuses on removing barriers to work supporting reasonable adjustments and assisting with the organisation communication and coordination of professional duties within Adult Social Care.
- Manage email inboxes diaries appointments and meeting schedules.
- Prepare reports case notes correspondence and other documentation.
- Coordinate meetings take minutes and monitor follow-up actions.
- Maintain confidential case records in line with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
- Support workload planning and monitor key deadlines and statutory timescales.
- Assist with document navigation information access and administrative tasks impacted by disability.
- Support the use of assistive technology and adapted working methods.
- Organise digital and physical files in accessible formats.
- Assist with case documentation and multi-agency records.
- Liaise with colleagues partner agencies and service users on behalf of the Social Worker.
- Process referrals update case management records and monitor case progression.
- Accompany and support the Social Worker during meetings and visits where required.
- Drive the Social Worker to community visits across the borough.
- Previous Personal Assistant Executive Assistant Business Support or Administrative experience.
- Experience managing diaries appointments inboxes and correspondence.
- Experience preparing professional reports records and documentation.
- Experience taking meeting minutes and tracking actions.
- Experience maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Experience working within Social Care Health Local Government or similar environments is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Access to own vehicle.
- Business Insurance for work-related travel.
- Enhanced DBS Check.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Working hours: 28.8 hours per week (4 days per week).
- Location: Lord Street Southport PR8 1DA.
- Enhanced DBS required.
- Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle required.
- Face-to-face interview required.
- Interview week commencing 21st September 2026.
- Supplier submission deadline: 17th September 2026.
- We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
