Personal Assistant to the Hospital Director.

New Hall Hospital Permanent Competitive

The Role

Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 17.00

The PA to HD to ensure that their day-to-day business is organised effectively. We are looking for a dedicated self-motivated experienced Personal Assistant for the Senior Leadership team. You will have great organisational communication and interpersonal skills and will demonstrate confidentiality and discretion.

This is a very busy and demanding role so candidates will need to be enthusiastic highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role to ensure the needs of the service are met. You will be responsible for the HD and at times SLT ensuring you are accessible adaptable for the assistance of day-to-day activities as well as planned duties.

What you will bring with you:

  • Proven ability to establish priorities under conflicting demands.
  • Self-motivated very organised with key prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communicator with a high degree of computer literacy with expert level use of the Microsoft packages.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Demonstrated customer Service skill with excellent communication skills both face to face over the phone and in writing.
  • The ability to make decisions and use your initiative are Key.
  • have the ability to Work closely with Hospital Director on strategic projects
  • Previous experience of providing PA support at a senior level

Desirables

  • Experience of managing confidential matters.

This role will report directly to the Hospital Director.

Key Duties (but not limited to):

  • Meeting preparation along with minute taking for scheduled meetings and additional ad hoc requirements.
  • Maintain and update SLT diaries.
  • Maintain CQC evidence folder on behalf of HD with support.
  • Work closely with Consultant colleagues
  • Hospitality organise external meetings/visits.
  • Maintaining the hospitals on call rota and SLT phone.
  • Weekly staff newsletter.
  • Ensure staff mailing lists are updated
  • Annual legal/audit returns for Corporate
  • Additional duties such as scheduled staff forums (ad hoc requirements)
  • Delegated Authority sign off.
  • Maintaining staff car registrations.
  • Daily Activity Reporting.
