A thriving secondary school in Basingstoke is looking to appoint a technically minded Performing Arts Technician to support its drama and performing arts departments.
The successful candidate will assist with lessons rehearsals and productions throughout the school year.
You will help prepare performance spaces set up technical equipment and provide hands-on support during live performances.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up stages and performance areas
Preparing lighting and sound equipment
Supporting rehearsals
Operating technical equipment
Assisting with productions
Carrying out equipment checks
Maintaining technical resources
Supporting students during practical sessions
Reporting faults
Safely storing equipment
Experience in theatre live events stage management or technical production would be beneficial.
The successful candidate should be calm under pressure technically confident and comfortable working collaboratively with staff and students.
