Were looking for an ambitiousPerformance Data Analystto join our dynamicSouth West (SW) Regional Benchmarking Teama unique opportunity to help shape a regional approach to performance analysis and intelligence.
About the Role
Hosted within Cornwall - The Performance Data Analyst role is a key position within the South West Regional Benchmarking Team responsible for analysing complex performance data and transforming it into clear actionable insights that support decision-making across organisations. The post focuses on developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards preparing and validating data from multiple sources and presenting findings in an accessible way to a range of audiences.
Working closely with the Performance Data Lead and technical specialists the role contributes to the development of regional benchmarking frameworks enabling organisations to compare performance identify trends and drive improvement through collaborative data-driven approaches.
What Youll Be Doing
- Analyse and interpret performance data to identify trends risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintainPower BI dashboards and reportsfor a wide range of stakeholders
- Collate clean and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support the development of regional benchmarking frameworks and outputs
- Collaborate with technical specialists working inAzure SQL and reporting systems
About You
Were looking for someone who is:
- An experienced data analyst with strong skills inperformance analysis and reporting
- Confident usingPower BIto create engaging user-focused dashboards
- Skilled at communicating complex data in a clear compelling way
- Detail-oriented with strong data preparation and quality assurance skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and organisations
Experience within public sector data (e.g. Childrens Services Education or Health) would be advantageousbut not essential.

Youll be part of a well-established Performance Data and Technical team with extensive expertise across analytics reporting and statutory data returns. The wider team manages hundreds of Power BI products and cutting-edge data infrastructure providing a strong foundation for your work.
