People Systems & Data Insights Manager

At Carter Jonas were seeking a strategic and data driven People Systems and Data Insights Manager based in our Peterborough Office on a hybrid basis.

The role is responsible for developing and maintaining the People data architecture leading the evolution of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions governing data quality and driving continuous improvement in HR reporting analytics and workforce planning capabilities.

What Youll Be Doing

As People Systems and Data Insights Manager you will:

• Develop and implement the People Analytics and HRMI strategy aligned to the firms business objectives and Vision 2030.
• Act as the subject matter expert for workforce analytics providing insight-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Establish a roadmap for the development of People analytics Power BI reporting and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI automation and predictive analytics within People Operations.
• Own the design development and governance of enterprise-level HR dashboards and Develop scalable Power BI dashboards that enable self-service reporting across the business.
• Define and implement HR data governance standards controls and quality assurance processes.
• Establish KPIs and monitoring frameworks for data accuracy and reporting effectiveness.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and manage competing priorities.
• Translate complex workforce data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Present workforce trends metrics and strategic analysis to Management Board and leadership teams.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query Power Pivot DAX and complex modelling).
• Advanced Power BI development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Strong understanding of data architecture data modelling and governance principles. Including GDPR and management of sensitive People Data
• Proven ability to create strategic dashboards and executive-level reporting especially in the context of a strategic HR agenda that drives commercial value
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience influencing and engaging senior stakeholders.
