People Performance & Experience Manager

Were looking for an experienced People Performance & Experience Manager professional to lead the evolution of colleague development employee experience and engagement across our growing organisation.

Working alongside consultants and business professionals delivering some of the UKs most impactful #tech4good digital transformation programmes youll play a key role in creating an environment where people can build rewarding careers develop their capability and perform at their best.

As part of our People Services team youll work closely with leaders across the business to strengthen performance career progression employee experience engagement and organisational effectiveness. Youll lead the development of practical frameworks and initiatives that help colleagues understand what is expected of them perform at their best and build meaningful careers with Informed.

Youll work in partnership with our Learning & Development Advisor to identify the organisational capabilities and development priorities needed to support our business strategy. The L&D Advisor will lead the design coordination and delivery of learning activities while youll ensure these are informed by performance insights career pathways and the wider needs of the business.

About the Role

People are at the heart of everything we do.

As our People Performance & Experience Manager youll be the subject matter lead for performance career progression employee experience and engagement. Working closely with the Head of People Services youll shape and continually improve the frameworks and experiences that help our people perform progress and build meaningful careers with Informed.

Youll partner with leaders and managers across the organisation to strengthen performance improve the colleague experience and embed consistent scalable approaches across the employee lifecycle. This will include our performance and appraisal framework career pathways onboarding and early performance manager effectiveness engagement and recognition.

While youll contribute to the development of our people strategy your primary focus will be turning that strategy into practical high-impact initiatives that deliver measurable improvements for our people and the business.

Youll work closely with our Learning & Development Advisor to identify capability priorities arising from performance insights career pathways and business needs. The Advisor will design and deliver learning activities while youll ensure development priorities remain connected to our wider people strategy and organisational goals.

Success in this role means creating greater clarity around performance and progression enabling managers to build high-performing teams improving the colleague experience and using evidence and insight to continually strengthen how we support our people.

Key Responsibilities

Youll:

• Lead the continuous improvement of colleague development employee experience and engagement initiatives.
• Shape and oversee leadership and management development programmes working alongside the Learning & Development Advisor to ensure effective delivery.
• Lead the ongoing development of InformedACADEMY and our wider development framework.
• Enhance onboarding career development and progression pathways to support long-term colleague growth.
• Partner with leaders and managers to identify capability needs and embed effective development initiatives.
• Lead employee engagement feedback and recognition initiatives that strengthen culture and colleague experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve organisational capability employee experience and overall effectiveness.
• Evaluate the impact of development and engagement initiatives using insight to inform future priorities.

HR Advisory & Stakeholder Support

• Provide trusted HR advice across performance development wellbeing and employee experience matters.
• Coach and support managers to develop confident engaged and high-performing teams.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation providing practical guidance and constructive challenge where appropriate.
• Support the consistent application of people policies processes and best practice.

Continuous Improvement & Insight

• Use employee feedback engagement surveys and people data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate insight into practical recommendations that improve colleague experience and organisational effectiveness.
• Measure the effectiveness of development and engagement initiatives and recommend enhancements.
• Contribute to wider People Services projects and organisational development initiatives.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as the lead specialist for People Development & Experience within the People Services team.
• Provide day-to-day guidance coaching and support to the Learning & Development Advisor.
• Work collaboratively across People Services to deliver a joined-up colleague experience.
• Balance strategic thinking with a practical delivery-focused approach to implementing improvements.

What Were Looking For

Youll ideally have experience in a People Development Employee Experience Learning & Development or HR role within a professional services technology or other knowledge-led environment.

Youll bring:

• Experience leading or delivering employee development engagement or organisational improvement initiatives.
• Strong HR advisory experience and confidence supporting managers on a range of people matters.
• A good understanding of learning leadership development and employee experience principles.
• Experience working with stakeholders to identify capability needs and implement practical solutions.
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
• The ability to coach support and constructively challenge managers.
• Experience using people data and employee feedback to inform decision making.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for creating positive colleague experiences.

A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) would be an advantage although well happily support the right person in achieving this.
