PE Teacher - Secondary School - Bradford

A secondary school in Bradford is looking for an energetic and committed PE Teacher to join its Physical Education Department. This full-time permanent position would suit a teacher who can deliver high-quality practical lessons while encouraging students to develop confidence teamwork and a positive attitude towards physical activity.

You will teach Physical Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 delivering a varied programme of practical activities and classroom-based learning.

Students will have opportunities to develop their skills across different sports while learning about fitness health training and sporting performance. You will be expected to maintain high levels of participation and ensure lessons are inclusive and appropriately challenging.

For GCSE PE groups you will teach both the practical and theoretical elements of the course supporting students with areas such as anatomy and physiology physical training sports psychology and socio-cultural influences.

You will monitor student progress provide constructive feedback and contribute to extracurricular sporting activities where appropriate.

Salary

The salary for this PE Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS depending on experience and qualifications.
