We are looking for aPayroll & HROfficerto join our UK HR roleis responsible forproviding full employee lifecycle support includingownership ofour payroll cycle from start to finishand all HRand with our managers and leaders to ensurean excellentemployee experience whilst ensuring compliance with UK employment legislationand HR best practice.

Whatyoulldo:

Payroll Administration

• Prepare and submit monthly payroll data for employees ensuringcompliancewith UK legislation HMRCguidanceand company policies.
• All payrolladministration including year-end activities and HMRC payroll changes including starters leavers salary reviews bonuses overtime statutory payments deductionsandpension contributions.
• Support payroll reconciliations and resolve payroll queries from employees managers and Finance.

HR Administrationand Employee Support

• Manage all HR administrationand records managementthroughout the employee lifecycle including onboardingright to work checksprobation reviewscontractual changes promotions transfers and offboarding.

• Prepare employment contracts contract amendments offer letters probation confirmation letters and termination documentation.

• Administer employee benefits including pension enrolment private medical insurance life assurance and other companybenefitschemes.

• Act as the first point of contact for HR and payroll queries.

• Ensure HR practicesremaincompliant with UK employment legislationassistingwith policy updates in line with legislative changes.

• Support HR projects process improvementsreportingauditsand other operational initiatives asrequired.

Essential

• Experience in a HRrole such as HR Operations HRAdministratoror HR Assistant.

• Experience in arole with responsibility for payrollandbenefitsadministration.

• Knowledge ofHMRC statutory payments pension auto-enrolmentyear-end payroll processesand payroll compliance.

• Knowledge of HR practicesincluding athoroughunderstanding of UK employment lawand with UK employee lifecycle processes and employment documentation.

• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to problem solvingand informed decision-making.

• Stronginterpersonal relationship-building andcommunication skills-you tailor your approach to your audience andhandle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred

• A HR qualification such as CIPD Level 3 or Level 5.

• Familiarity with ADP and BambooHR.
