Hours: Monday Wednesday & Friday 3:00pm 5:00pm (6 hours per week)
Pay Rate: 13.45 per hour (PAYE)

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work at a commercial premises in Longridge Preston. This is an ongoing temporary assignment offering consistent part-time hours and an immediate start for the successful candidate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness hygiene and presentation throughout the site ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of office and communal areas
- Vacuuming sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces desks and touch points
- Cleaning kitchen and welfare facilities
- Cleaning toilets washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
- Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good attention to detail and high standards of work
- Reliable punctual and professional approach
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Previous experience working within office or commercial environments
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals
